DOING BUSINESS IN KAZAKHSTAN THE WORLD BANK

Brief information about Kazakhstan results

Today, Kazakhstan has improved its position in the Doing Business rating and took 25th place and 79.6 out of 100 score. Kazakhstan reached 28th place in 2019 and 71st place in the rating of countries in 2018.

For example, Kazakhstan took 94.4 among 100 score in starting business section. It is easy to open a company in Kazakhstan.

The most critical areas with lower scores are observed in the following sections: taxation, enforcement of contracts and the debt recovery in the courts.

Debt recovery in Kazakhstan courts takes about 12 months. In comparison, the same procedure takes less than 10 months in Europe and Central Asia.
